This is a Sales Manager position for both Washington and Alaska Industrial Sales Regions where you will help drive your sales Associates with good customer business outcomes and solutions. This position involves working closely with account salespeople, the NCAS specialist team, Industrial inside sales, and the Construction group of North Coast.

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Guide and Mentor your sales Associates across all aspects of the business that include Goal planning, Strategies, managing Opportunities, and sales disciplines.

  • Work closely with other North Coast divisions to grow the company’s portfolio of products.

  • Build and maintain an annual budget system for all your salespeople.

  • Manage the utilization of the CRM and hold accountable the usage of the CRM to grow business.

  • Manage sales competencies around Industrial products and Commercial Sales disciplines (i.e. Sandler)

  • Consistently meet with your counterpart in Oregon to develop consistent behavior across the company.

  • Utilize the Customer Sales Software (SSM) and other Sonepar tools to look for customer opportunities and gaps.

  • Spend time with your salespeople guiding and honing their sales skills including customer facing sales calls.

  • Maintain a Sales Funnel to accomplish Sales Goals/Meet Sales Growth Objectives for all products and services.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Understanding of the Electrical Distribution business.

  • Allen Bradley, or equivalent application experience with automation systems such as smart devices, small controllers, industrial control, sensors, safety, distributed I/O, and conditioned based monitoring and related services.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowertPoint and TEAMS.

  • Strong written and verbal skills in a team environment.

  • Self-driven, proactive desire to develop a stronger understanding of all Rockwell Automation/AlIen-Bradley products and service offerings.  

  • College degree preferred or equal experience and expertise in this area.

 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Professional office environment and frequent computer use

  • Regional travel (customers, vendors, jobsites, North Coast Service Centers, etc.) and occasional out of area travel (training and trade shows)

  • Consistent/monthly travel to Alaska region

  • Lifting up to 30 lbs

  • Good driving record

 

Salary & Compensation:

  • This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime.
  • Pay is $147,900 to $196,000 annually, DOE.
