Scope of the position:

This position is responsible for expediting, tracking and updating delivery shipments from vendors. They will work closely with the Purchasing and Inventory team, Sales, the Opco’s ERP system, and external vendors and freight carriers/customs broker.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ÿ Expediting and tracking the delivery of shipments from vendors in Western Canada

Ÿ Updating expected delivery status/tracking info in the ERP system

Ÿ Work with vendors daily to obtain details of incoming shipments and status of orders in production

Ÿ Update buyers as required to ensure prompt reaction to potential delivery issues

Ÿ Provide backup for the Inventory Coordinator

Ÿ Run reports to identify and analyze high priority items and monitor ship dates.

Ÿ Other duties as assigned

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post Secondary Degree/Diploma/Certification
  • 2 years equivalent experience 

Salary - $58,000 - $62,000

Please note that, whilst not expected, the company may pay at a rate outside of the range for this role where appropriate. Actual compensation commensurate with the candidate’s experience, education, internal parity, role complexity, role level, and other relevant factors. The advertised salary range relates to British Columbia and is provided in accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act. We recognize however that salaries are often driven by market forces in the local area where a candidate is based and accordingly the salary range may not apply outside of British Columbia.
