Responsible for entry of stock transfers, investigation & resolution of vendor related inventory issues regarding defective, damaged or incorrect material received in our branches. Issuing and reviewing reports for/with the branches dealing with the identification and handling of short/potentially unsellable inventory.

 

  • Create warehouse transfer orders as required
  • Address branch inquiries regarding shipment statuses
  • New product setups and item file maintenance
  • Inventory issue resolution & adjustments as required
  • Investigation & resolution of Corrective Action requests (CAR) and Receiving Discrepancy Reports (RDR), part of the company’s compliance requirement for ISO certification
  • Assist with vendors returns as required
  • Prepare monthly Buy/Sell & Kardex (short length) stock reports / review for/ with branches
  • Back up for another the expeditor when required
  • Other duties as required

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Post Secondary required
  • Business education background required
  • 3-4 years Industry experience and/or experience in a similar job.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office software required, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to organize & prioritize duties, multitask, and perform accurately, efficiently, and effectively in a high-paced work environment.  
  • Must have strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully employ interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships and customer service with internal and external stakeholders  and resolve conflicts
  • Demonstrate good understanding of technology (ie: digital tools/online platforms/solutions)
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
