Handles day-to-day customer inquiries via Sales for non-stock items as well as inquiries for project bids and urgent requests.  Works closely with Sales to strategically develop sales proposals to maximize sales and gross margin opportunities and serves as a technical resource for the Company.


Major Responsibilities

  • Review and qualification of requests for quote from Sales
  • Identify and recommend appropriate products, solutions, and/or services based on application, environment, project requirements, etc.
  • Work closely with Sales.  Obtain, consolidate, and communicate market intelligence and proactively provide input in the strategic development of Sales bids
  • Research and sourcing of materials
  • Submitting price & delivery requests to manufacturers
  • Preparation of landed cost sheets as required by Sales
  • Provide technical support and obtain & distribute technical documentation to Sales as needed
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Must be very customer service focused to support our internal customers
