Forklift Experience Required.

Must be available full-time Monday to Friday.

 

Responsible for providing general warehouse assistance in accordance to the standard operating procedures for the position and performing in compliance to safety standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Completing the pre-shift inspection for forklift, including battery maintenance. 
  • Maintaining safety compliance when operating the forklift. 
  • Reporting any unsafe work conditions that might occur. 
  • Monitoring and tracking inventory per Company procedures. 
  • Adhering to standards/processes in the warehouse. 
  • Order picking. 
  • Putting stock away in appropriate locations. 
  • Operating scanning gun. 
  • Stocking empty reels. 
  • Processing orders as they are received. 
  • Follow correct cutting procedures, complete required paperwork, and verify the order matches the requirements. 
  • Assisting with general cleaning of work environment. 
  • Participating in re-certification for forklift operation, as required. 
  • Other duties as required.

 

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • First Aid, WHMIS or Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum 2 + years of warehouse, production or general labour related experience
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a physical test 

 

Salary:  $22.73 per hour

Actual compensation commensurate with the candidate’s experience, education, internal parity, role complexity, role level, and other relevant factors. The advertised salary range relates to British Columbia and is provided in accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act. We recognize however that salaries are often driven by market forces in the local area where a candidate is based and accordingly the salary range may not apply outside of British Columbia.
