Job Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for providing general warehouse assistance in accordance with the standard operating procedures for the position and performing in compliance to safety standards.

This position requires flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts as needed.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Handle cable orders and cut cables to specified lengths.
  • Inspect cables for specifications compliance and remove defective pieces.
  • Completing the pre-shift inspection for forklift, including battery maintenance.
  • Maintaining safety compliance and reporting any unsafe work conditions that might occur.
  • Monitoring and tracking inventory per Company procedures.
  • Adhering to standards/processes in the warehouse.
  • Order picking and putting stock away in appropriate locations.
  • Operating a scanning gun and stocking empty reels.
  • Follow correct cutting procedures, complete required paperwork, and verify the order matches the requirements.
  • Assisting with general cleaning of work environment.
  • Participating in re-certification for forklift operation, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • First Aid, WHMIS, or Forklift Certification is preferred.
  • Forklift experience is essential.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in warehouse, production, or general labor roles.
  • Must pass a background check and a physical test.
