We are hiring a On-Site Customer Service Representative to join our team!  

Job Type: Full Time 

What You’ll Do  

The On-Site Customer Service Representative manages vendor managed inventory programs at customer locations to ensure product availability, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for inventory replenishment, maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales growth opportunities, and ensuring efficient execution of processes while partnering with internal teams and customers to deliver value-added solutions   

Customer Service & Relationship Management 

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive, professional, and courteous service. 

  • Resolve customer concerns, delivery issues, and inventory discrepancies in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

  • Partner with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Purchasing, and vendors to support customer needs and ensure service commitments are met. 

  • Communicate customer requests, concerns, and sales opportunities to appropriate internal stakeholders. 

  • Identify opportunities to expand product offerings and grow the existing program. 

Operations 

  • Manage customer inventory through replenishment, ordering, receiving, stocking, tracking, and inventory control processes. 

  • Review inventory usage and maintain appropriate min/max levels and reorder parameters to support customer demand. 

  • Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy. 

  • Establish and maintain customer VMI locations, including bin labeling, barcode maintenance, product organization, and stocking standards. 

  • Ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements and maintain organized, efficient inventory areas. 

Administrative 

  • Prepare and maintain inventory records, consignment reports, expense reports, and customer documentation. 

  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Accounting, Purchasing, and Sales teams to support uninterrupted customer service. 

  • Schedule daily activities and customer visits to maximize efficiency and productivity. 

  • Maintain company equipment, scanners, and vehicle maintenance requirements 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

What You’ll Bring 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, customer service, vendor managed inventory, or electrical distribution preferred. 

  • Experience with barcode scanning technology and inventory management systems preferred. 

  • Knowledge of electrical products and materials or the ability to develop product knowledge quickly 

Requirements: 

  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple customer locations. 

  • Proficiency with inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations as required. 

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers and internal teams.

  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. 

  • Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.   

  • Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and achieve accuracy.   

  • Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.   

  • Occasionally, may be required to lift items greater than 75 lbs. with assistance.
