A Bid Coordinator with Capital Electric is responsible for managing projects and coordination between our customers, vendors, estimators and outside sales team.

 

Salary: $20-25 / hour

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assign jobs in Eclipse to Estimators. Keep a calendar of how many jobs each Estimator has for each day
  • Close out all jobs in Eclipse and file
  • Collaborate with other Bid Coordinators for ‘out of territory’ quotes
  • Ensure effective communication throughout projects team regarding upcoming bids
  • Field phone calls from general contractors, customers, and outside sales reps
  • Maintain open and closed filing of project files
  • Manage the Commercial Projects email in box
  • Print and help put together submittals and operation and maintenance manuals
  • Print copies of jobs already assigned and add customer to the bid list in Eclipse. Give copies to Estimators so they have contact information to quote
  • Assist Project Managers in various duties
  • Distribute and maintain bid sheets
  • Enter jobs into the appropriate tracking system

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
