About the Role
As CDC Logistics Director, you’ll lead the operational heartbeat of Capital Electric’s logistics network while shaping its future strategy. This is a high-impact role where you’ll ensure seamless delivery experiences, optimize processes, and drive innovation across our distribution network. Your leadership will set the tone for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Operations: Oversee daily logistics activities, including CDC facility maintenance and fleet management, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Drive Strategy: Partner with the VP of Supply Chain to define and execute short- and long-term goals, aligning resources and timelines for success.
- Optimize Performance: Use data and analytics to forecast, plan, and improve inbound/outbound logistics, inventory flow, and branch network efficiency.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Implement process enhancements that boost scalability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop Talent: Coach and grow your team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Engage stakeholders across sales, BI, and operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Build Relationships: Partner with key accounts to understand logistics needs and create strategies that exceed expectations.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in transportation and fleet operations
- Bachelor’s degree (Transportation or Logistics preferred)
- Experience in B2B distribution and branch network operations
- Proven leadership with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Analytical mindset with excellent planning and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Eclipse ERP a plus)
- Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed
Salary: $190,000 to $210,000 with bonus potential.
