We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Manager of System-to-System Integration. The Manager is responsible for leading a team in the design, development, and maintenance of seamless integrations between Sonepar systems and external partners. This role ensures the secure, scalable, and efficient exchange of data across platforms using APIs, EDI, and middleware technologies. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong project management practices, team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
**This is a Virtual Role with up to 20% travel requirement**
Responsibilities
- Guiding, directing, and influencing the team toward achieving a common goal, driving a vision, motivating team members, making decisions, managing resources, and resolving conflicts. Creating an environment where individuals can thrive and contribute their best efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system integrations, including setup guides, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders on EDI and API technologies.
- Ensure all integrations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and coordinate integrating different systems within the organization to ensure seamless information flow and data accuracy.
- EDI Management: Oversee EDI systems' implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient electronic data exchange with external partners.
- API Management: Develop, deploy, and manage APIs to facilitate communication between various software applications.
- Lead and manage integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business requirements.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute resolution plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system integration, with a strong focus on EDI and API technologies.
- Strong experience with process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Project management skills
- Be authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.)
- Experience with API development and management (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, etc.)
- Understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
